What is Pickrel Studio?

Pickrel Studio was created by Garrett Pickrel, a front end web developer out of Parker, CO. The site is multipurposed, primarily serving as a resource center for web developers and secondarily as a portfolio for Garrett.

As the site continues to grow and change, it will likely move entirely away from a portfolio and only be geared towards generating rich content for web developers to use on a daily basis.

The Dev Corner is intented to be an online encyclopedia filled with great resources for web developers to reference and use on a regular basis.

Has this type of idea been done before? Yes, of course it has. To name a few: Stack Overflow, Smashing Magazine, CSS-Tricks. My goal is not to compete with these great information hubs on the web. My goal is simply to put all of them in one place. Well, all of the onces that I find useful anyway...

I wanted a spot mostly for myself to compile all of these great places I like to frequent upon so that I can just hop on my own site and get straight to the infomation I like to comb over on a regualar basis.

Feel free to hop on the Dev Corner to reference some of your favorite material. All of the information is linked to other spots on the web that have already done the leg work for the resources. I didn't want to just steal and recreate the awesome trick that I found, so I figured I would just shoot you straight to the resource where I found it. If a link is dead, I appologize ahead of time. I am not in control of what happens on the sites that I am linking to but I will make a valiant effort to make sure the links are active and the sites are trusted.
